I am happy to announce that I have accepted a Board position withSerenity Stables From Combat To Calm. It’s been 3 years since Rene Stone and I created this equine program that has evolved beyond our hopes and dreams. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers who have dedicated countless hours of their time which has resulted in many hundreds of positive veteran interactions over the years. Today we hosted veterans from the East Orange VA’s Spinal Cord and PTSD units. For many of these veterans this was their introduction to equine. According to their stellar feedback, this will be their 1st of many future engagements. I look forward to being a part of things to come.
