ADAM SUBVERI

Adam N. Subervi has served as a member of the UWVC Board of Directors since 2014.

A licensed attorney for over 18 years, Adam currently serves in-house at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, where he provides strategic legal advice regarding the manufacture/promotion of pharmaceutical products.

From 2010-2017, Adam served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Newark, New Jersey, where he was detailed to represent the United States in over 100 cases/investigations involving economic crimes, domestic and international money laundering, international narcotics trafficking and other offenses.

Adam graduated from Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in 1996, and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in 1997 following his graduation from Seton Hall University. He was certified as a Judge Advocate in 2001, following his graduation from Rutgers School of Law, The Basic School, and Naval Justice School.

From 2001 to 2005, Adam served on active duty as a Judge Advocate at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. In 2003, he was deployed to Kuwait and Iraq, and participated in the invasion/liberation of Iraq with I-Marine Expeditionary Force, serving as Battalion Judge Advocate for 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines and civil affairs team leader responsible for stabilizing and re-instituting the legal infrastructure in the City of Karbala following the defeat of Saddam Hussein’s regime.

In 2005, Adam transitioned from active-duty to the Marine Corps Reserve, where he was mobilized for 6 months to serve stateside in support of continuing operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

From 2005 to the present he has continued to serve as a Marine Reservist, holding various supervisory billets, including his current role as Assistant Staff Judge Advocate to United States Southern Command in Doral, Florida.

In March 2014, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and in 2015, he was selected by the Judge Advocate General of the Navy to serve as a Military Trial Judge, a billet he held from 2015-2018.

Adam previously served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Dickinson R. Debevoise, United States District Court – District of New Jersey.

In addition to the UWVC, Adam is also a member of the Marine Corps League, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.
